John started his career in the Metropolitan Police, then spent time travelling the world in the late 1980s. In the ‘90s he moved into sales across a number of different industries, during which time he developed a particular interest in temporary overlay and flooring.

In 1999 John co-founded Rola-trac, with a significant order from the UK MOD marking the beginning of our work with the defence sector. In 2017, The Box Group (formerly Floorbox) was launched.

John thrives on exploring and finding new products, and working with smart manufacturing partners so that we can add The Box Group magic to new solutions for customers.
